Co-Curricular Opportunities

Students are entitled to a range of activities to support academic, vocational and sport- related development before school, during lunch and after school.

Some of our comprehensive range of co-curricular activities to support students learning outside of normal school lessons are:

  • Access to breakfast clubs to improve students reading
  • A wide range of sporting activities and competitions
  • Independent learning and research in the school library and through our extensive network of ICT facilities
  • Opportunities to participate in events such as our Gym and Dance Show and our Expressive Arts Evening
  • Theatre productions produced and delivered by our expressive performing arts team
  • Additional homework and revision clubs
  • Visits to the theatres, museums and art galleries
  • Tutorials during key examination years
  • Summer schools for targeted groups of students KS2 and KS3
  • Participation in The Duke of Edinburgh Awards programme during weekends and school breaks
